dānavena tato muktaṃ garuḍāstraṃ ca līlayā /
gāruḍāstraṃ ca tad dṛṣṭvā sārpaṃ naiva vyadṛśyata //

Then the dānava unleashed the Garuḍa-weapon with ease; / and seeing that Garuḍa-weapon, the serpent-weapon was seen no more.
