pṛthagbhūtairdvijātīnāṃ tīrthe kāryaṃ narādhipa /
brahmakṣatraviśāṃ vāpi strīśūdrāṇāṃ tathaiva ca //
it should be performed separately by the twice-born at the pilgrimage place, O ruler of men, / or by Brahmins, Kṣatriyas, and Vaiśyas, and likewise by women and Śūdras.
