uttānapāda uvāca:
kīdṛśo 'tha vidhistatra tīrthaśrāddhasya kā kriyā /
dānaṃ ca dīyate yadvat tanmamākhyāhi śaṅkara //
Uttānapāda said: / What then is the rule there? What is the rite of the pilgrimage śrāddha? / And how is the gift given? Tell me that, O Śaṅkara.
