trayodaśyāṃ tato gacchedguhāvāsini liṅgake /
dṛṣṭvā mārkaṇḍamīśānaṃ mucyate sarvapātakaiḥ //

Then, on the thirteenth lunar day, he should go to the cave-dwelling liṅga; / having seen the Īśāna of Mārkaṇḍa, he is freed from all sins.
