etatkṛtvā nṛpaśreṣṭha janmanaḥ phalamāpnuyāt /
caturdaśyāṃ tu vai snātvā pūjāṃ kṛtvā yathāvidhi //

Having done this, O best of kings, he obtains the fruit of his birth; / and having bathed on the fourteenth lunar day and performed worship according to rule,
