prājāpatyaṃ tu pāṭhādyaṃ śivapuṣpaṃ tu vāsanā /
ahiṃsā prathamaṃ puṣpaṃ puṣpamindriyanigrahaḥ //

belonging to Prajāpati is recitation and the like, and the flower of Śiva is inner disposition. / Non-injury is the first flower; restraint of the senses is a flower;
