suvarṇaṃ rajataṃ vastraṃ dadyād bhaktyā dvijottame /
tarpitāstena devāḥ syur manuṣyāḥ pitaras tathā //
One should give gold, silver, and cloth with devotion to an excellent dvija; / by that the gods, men, and ancestors are satisfied.
