53.35
dṛṣṭādṛṣṭaṃ tu yatkiṃcinna samaṃ brahmahatyayā /
anyathā brahmahatyāyāḥ śuddhir me na bhaviṣyati //
Whatever [sin] is seen or unseen, none is equal to the killing of a brāhmaṇa; / otherwise, there will be no purification for me from the murder of a brāhmaṇa."
