kulāni pretabhūtāni sarvāṇyapi hi tārayet /
dvijadevaprasādena pitḥṇāṃ ca prasādataḥ //
shall deliver all his families, even those turned into spirits of the deceased, / by the favor of the twice-born and the gods, and by the favor of the ancestors.
