iti kathitamidaṃ te śūlabhedasya puṇyaṃ mahimana hi manuṣyaiḥ śrūyate yatsapāpaiḥ /
madanariputaṭinyā yāmyakūlasthitasya prabaladuritakandocchedakuddālakalpam //
Thus this religious merit of Śūlabheda has been told to you; / indeed, its greatness is not heard by sinful men,
situated on the southern bank of the river of the enemy of Madana, / like a hoe uprooting the bulbous root of powerful misfortune.

|| Thus ends the fifty-eighth chapter named 'Description of the Glorification of the Śūlabheda Pilgrimage Place' in the Revākhaṇḍa of the fifth Āvantyakhaṇḍa in the glorious Skandapurāṇa, a collection of eighty-one thousand verses
