ṛcamekāṃ japedyastu yajurvā sāma eva ca /
sa samagrasya vedasya phalamāpnoti vai nṛpa //
Whoever recites one verse of the Ṛgveda, or the Yajurveda, or the Sāmaveda,
he indeed obtains the fruit of the entire Veda, O king.
