sa tāṃ mahādevamayūrarūpo dṛṣṭvā bhramantīṃ sahasormijālaiḥ /
kā tvaṃ śubhe śāśvatadehabhūtā kṣayaṃ na yātāsi mahākṣayānte //
He, in the form of Mahādeva as a peacock, seeing her wandering with masses of swift waves, [said]: / 'Who are you, auspicious one, having an eternal body, that you have not gone to destruction at the end of the great destruction?
