ye stotram etat satataṃ japanti snātvā ca toyena tu narmadāyāḥ /
tebhyo 'ntakāle sariduttameyaṃ gatiṃ viśuddhāmacirād dadāti //
Those who constantly murmur this hymn after bathing in the water of the Narmadā, / to them at the time of death this best of rivers soon grants a pure destination.
