śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchettu rājendra mātṛtīrthamanuttamam /
saṅgamasya samīpasthaṃ narmadādakṣiṇe taṭe //

The venerable Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then one should go, O best of kings, to the unexcelled Mātṛtīrtha, / Situated near the confluence on the southern bank of the Narmadā.
