nākaṃ prāptas tato devo gataḥ śakrasya mandiram /
nātyajaddevapṛṣṭhaṃ tu dānavo baladarpitaḥ //
The god then reached heaven and went to the palace of Śakra;
but the dānava, arrogant with strength, did not leave the god's heels.
