viṣṇuruvāca:
gacchantu amarāḥ sarve yuṣmābhiḥ saha śaṅkara /
upāyaṃ sarjayāmyadya vadhārthaṃ dānasya ca //
Viṣṇu said:
“Let all the immortals go together with you, O Śaṅkara.
Today I shall devise an expedient for the slaying of the dānava.”
