dānava uvāca:
ahaṃ vivāhamicchāmi tvayā saha suśobhane /
bhūpṛṣṭhe sakale rājñī bhavasyevaṃ na saṃśayaḥ //
The Dānava said: / "I desire marriage with you, O very lovely one! / You will certainly become the queen of the whole surface of the earth—there is no doubt."
