śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchettu rājendra maṇināgeśvaraṃ śubham /
uttare narmadākūle sarvapāpakṣayaṃkaram /
sthāpitaṃ maṇināgena lokānāṃ hitakāmyayā //

Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya said:
Then one should go to the auspicious Maṇināgeśvara, O king of kings, / on the north bank of the Narmadā, destroying all sins, / established by the serpent Maṇināga wishing for the welfare of the worlds.
