prīṇayennarmadātīre brāhmaṇāñchaṃsitavratān /
śrāddhaṃ kāryaṃ nṛpaśreṣṭha āmaiḥ pakvairjalena ca //
one should gratify the Brāhmaṇas of commendable vows on the bank of the Narmadā. / An ancestral rite is to be performed, O best of kings, with raw [grain], cooked [food], and water.
