anyairapi mahīpālaiḥ pārthivatvamupārjitam /
nāradeśvaramāhātmyād dhruvo niścalatāṃ gataḥ //

Sovereignty was acquired by other rulers of the earth as well;
by the glorification of Nāradeśvara, Dhruva attained steadfastness.
