svecchācārī bhave deva vedavedāṅgapāragaḥ /
trikālajño jagannātha gītajño 'haṃ sadā bhave //
May I wander at my own will, O God, master of the Vedas and Vedāṅgas;
knowing the three times, O Lord of the universe, may I always know music.
