na cāsau pakṣirāṭ tasminna striyo na ca devatāḥ /
tadevaikaṃ sthitaṃ liṅgamarcayanvismayānvitaḥ //
Neither that king of birds was there, nor the women, nor the deities; / filled with wonder, I worshipped that single liṅga standing there.
