śrīhanumān uvāca:
brahmarakṣovadhājjātā mama hatyā maheśvara /
na pāpo 'haṃ bhavedeva yuṣmatsambhāṣaṇe kṣaṇāt //
Śrī Hanumān said: / 'The sin of murder arose for me, O Maheśvara, from the slaying of a Brahmarākṣasa; / may I not be sinful, O Lord, in an instant through conversation with you.'
