grīvāṃ te moṭayāmāsuḥ picchāchoṭanakaṃ kṛtam /
hutāśanamukhe taistu saha kāntena lubdhakaiḥ //
They wrung our necks, and plucked our tail feathers; / and then, along with my beloved, [we were placed] in the mouth of the fire by those hunters.
