śatabāhur uvāca:
nāyāmi svargamārgāgraṃ vipro yāvanna saṃsthitaḥ /
upadeśaprado mahyaṃ gururūpī dvijottamaḥ //

Śatabāhu said: / "I shall not go to the forefront of the path to heaven as long as the Brahmin does not stand [beside me], / the best of the twice-born who, as my guru, bestowed instruction upon me."
