tarpayed brāhmaṇān bhaktyā vasanānnahiraṇyataḥ /
narakasthā divaṃ yāntu procyeti praṇamed dvijān //
One should satisfy the brāhmaṇas with devotion through clothing, food, and gold. / Saying, "May those dwelling in hell go to heaven!", one should bow to the twice-born.
