munibhiḥ sarvatīrthānāṃ kṣiptaṃ kumbhodakaṃ bhuvi /
ekasthaṃ liṅganāmātha kalākumbhastathābhavat //

The sages poured the pot-water of all pilgrimage places onto the ground;
thereupon, united as one, the name of the liṅga became Kalākumbha.
