yāvanto romakūpāḥ syuḥ śarīre sarvadehinām /
tāvad varṣapramāṇena pitḥṇām akṣayā gatiḥ //
As many pores of the skin as there are on the bodies of all embodied beings,
for so many years the state of the ancestors is imperishable.
