yāni kāni ca tīrthāni cāsamudrasarāṃsi ca /
śivaliṅgārcanasyeha kalāṃ nārhanti ṣoḍaśīm //
Whatever pilgrimage places and lakes there are extending to the ocean,
they are not worth a sixteenth part of worshipping the Śivaliṅga here.
