nandyuvāca:
tvayāvataraṇaṃ cakre kapīndrāmarahetunā /
tathāpi hi kṛtaṃ pāpam upabhogena śāmyati //
Nandī said: / "An incarnation was made by you, O lord of monkeys, for the sake of the immortals; / even so, the sin committed is pacified only through experiencing [its result]."
