sarvānkāmānavāpnoti sampūjya parameśvaram /
kṛṣṇāṣṭamyāṃ caturdaśyāṃ sarvakālaṃ narādhipa /
ye 'rcayanti sadā devaṃ te na yānti yamālayam //

attains all desires after fully worshipping the Supreme Lord. / On the dark eighth and fourteenth [days] and at all times, O ruler of men, / those who ever worship the god do not go to the abode of Yama.
