akasmātte gatā vedā na sṛjeyaṃ vibho bhuvam /
te 'pi sarve mahādeva praviṣṭāḥ sammukhārṇavam //
suddenly those Vedas were gone; I cannot create the earth, O omnipresent one! / They too have all entered the ocean right before us, O Mahādeva!
