tau vāyubhūtau sūkṣmau ca paṭhato 'smātpitāmahāt /
tāvāśu hṛtvā vedāṃśca praviṣṭau ca mahārṇavam //
the two of them, having become wind, subtle, quickly stole the Vedas / from this Grandfather as he was reciting, and entered the great ocean.”
