prakṛtiṃ svāmavaṣṭabhya yogātmā sa prajāpatiḥ /
śete yugasahasrāntaṃ kālamāviśya sārṇavam //
Resting upon his own nature (prakṛti), that lord of creatures whose essence is yoga / sleeps until the end of a thousand yugas, entering the time of the cosmic ocean.'
