śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
revāyā uttare kūle vaiṣṇavaṃ tīrthamuttamam /
jalaśāyīti vai nāma vikhyātaṃ vasudhātale //

The venerable Mārkaṇḍeya said: / On the north bank of the Revā is an excellent Vaiṣṇava pilgrimage place, / renowned across the earth by the name Jalaśāyin.
