avedaviduṣe naiva brāhmaṇe sarvavikraye /
mitraghne ca kṛtaghne ca mantrahīne tathaiva ca //
nor to a Brahmin who does not know the Vedas, nor to one who sells everything, / nor to a slayer of a friend, nor to an ungrateful person, nor likewise to one devoid of mantras.
