tena devā jitāḥ sarve hṛtarājyā narādhipa /
yajñabhāgān svayaṃ bhuṅkte ahaṃ viṣṇurna saṃśayaḥ //

By him all the gods were conquered and stripped of their kingdoms, O ruler of men. / He personally consumed the sacrificial portions, [saying,] 'I am Viṣṇu, without a doubt!'
