tatsravaṃ kṣālitaṃ sadyo narmadāṃbhasi bhārata /
tadāprabhṛti loke 'smiñjalaśāyī mahīpate //
that entire discharge was immediately washed away in the water of the Narmadā, O Bhārata. / From that time forward in this world, O lord of the earth, [He is known as] Jalaśāyin.
