sa vased bhāskare loke viriñcidivasaṃ nṛpa /
ghṛtena bodhayeddīpaṃ ṣaṣṭhyāṃ sa ca nareśvara /
mucyate sarvapāpaistu pratiyāti puraṃ raveḥ //
He dwells in the world of Bhāskara for a day of Viriñci, O king. / And one should kindle a lamp with ghee on the sixth lunar day, O ruler of men; / he is freed from all sins and goes to the city of Ravi.
