śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchettu rājendra badaryāśramamuttamam /
sarvatīrthavaraṃ puṇyaṃ kathitaṃ śaṃbhunā purā //

Glorious Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then one should go, O king of kings, to the excellent hermitage of Badarī, / the best of all pilgrimage places, holy, spoken of of old by Śambhu.
