tasmātsarvaprayatnena yogyaṃ vipraṃ samāśrayet /
narakānmocayetpretānkumbhīpākapurogamān //
Therefore, with every effort, one should resort to a worthy brāhmaṇa; / [thus] one frees the spirits of the dead from hell, foremost of which is Kumbhīpāka.
