śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchenmahīpāla vyāsatīrthamanuttamam /
durlabhaṃ manujaiḥ puṇyamantarikṣe vyavasthitam //

Glorious Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then one should go, O protector of the earth, to the unequalled Vyāsatīrtha, / difficult for mortals to attain, full of religious merit, situated in the atmosphere.
