jaya mahiṣavimardini śūlakare jaya lokasamastakapāpahare /
jaya devi pitāmaharāmanate jaya bhāskaraśakraśiro'vanate //

Victory, O crusher of Mahiṣa, bearer of the trident! Victory, O remover of all the sins of the world! / Victory, O goddess revered by the Grandfather and Rāma! Victory, O one before whom the heads of Bhāskara and Śakra bow down!
