nīlo 'yamīdṛśaḥ prokto yastu dvīpeśvare tyajet /
sa samāḥ romasaṃkhyātā nāke vasati bhārata //
Such a one is called 'dark blue' (nīla); whoever releases him at Dvīpeśvara, / he dwells in heaven for as many years as the count of hairs, O Bhārata.
