dūta uvāca:
paratīraṃ gato devi vasurājāriśāsanaḥ /
tatra gantum aśakyeta jalayānairvinā śubhe //
The messenger said: / 'O queen, King Vasu, the punisher of enemies, has gone to the opposite shore. / It is impossible to go there without water-crafts, O auspicious one.
