tatastena kṣaṇaṃ dhyātvā saṃsmṛtā hṛdi tāmasī /
āgatā tāmasī māyā yayā vyāptaṃ carācaram //
Then, meditating for a moment, he remembered in his heart the darkness; / the dark magical illusion came, by which the moving and unmoving world was pervaded.
