amṛtāṃ narmadāṃ prāpto rudradehodbhavāṃ śubhām /
sāhlādo narmadāṃ dṛṣṭvā cittaviśrāntimāpa ca //
He reached the auspicious Narmadā, the immortal [river] born from the body of Rudra; / delighted at the sight of the Narmadā, he found peace of mind.
