pituḥ pūrvaṃ praṇamyādau sarveṣāṃ ca yathāvidhi /
āsanāni dadau bhaktyā pādyamarghaṃ nyavedayat //
Having first bowed to his father, and to all [the others] in due order, / he offered them seats with devotion and presented water for the feet and the respectful offering.
