proktāny etāni bhavatā sapta manvantarāṇi vai
bhaviṣyāṇy api viprarṣe mamākhyātuṃ tvam arhasi //
MAITREYA.--You have recapitulated to me, most excellent Brahman, the particulars of the past Manwantaras; now give me some account of those which are to come.
