vijayaś ca dhṛtiṃ putram avāpa |
tasyāpi dhṛtavrataḥ putro 'bhūt |
dhṛtavratāt satyakarmā satyakarmaṇas tv adhirathaḥ |
yo 'sau gaṅgāṃ gato mañjūṣāgataṃ pṛthāpaviddhaṃ karṇaṃ putram avāpa |
karṇād vṛṣasena ity ete 'ṅgāḥ ||

his son was Dhriti; his son was Dhritavrata; his son was Satyakarman; his son was Adhiratha, who found Karna in a basket on the banks of the Ganges, where he had been exposed by his mother, Pritha.
